Get ready for one of the most powerful interviews you’ve heard all year.

Meet Jessica Zimmerman, the creative entrepreneur who went from working 16 hour days with no profit to building a 7-figure business with much less demanding hours.

Seriously, this woman is amazing.

Her journey started when she survived a fatal car accident that took the life of her sister. From that day forward, she decided life is too short to give her freedom away to others.

After overworking herself for years and struggling to make a profit, her husband fell ill. Jessica knew she couldn’t simple survive anymore, she needed to take control and provide for her family of five.

By setting some serious boundaries and honing her focus, she grew her floral business into the industry leader it is today.

Her newest book, Sleeping With A Stranger, reveals the intimate details of both her business and personal journey.

Jessica came on the podcast to talk about how to use Pinterest to promote your jewelry or creative product brand, which I’ll detail below, but we ended up talking about so much more.

I recommend pulling out a notepad and listening to the full episode. This is one you don’t want to miss.

Think of Pinterest as a Visual Search Engine

Pinterest is everything for jewelry and creative product brands.

It’s a highly visual social platform, much like Facebook and Instagram. What sets it apart is that people actually go to Pinterest to search for things.

When someone finds your product on Pinterest, they don’t feel like they’re being bombarded with advertising. They feel grateful.

It’s the perfect opportunity to provide value to your Dream Clients.

Use Pinterest Like a Seller, Not a User

Pins come up on the first page of Google all the time.

You should be thinking about your pinning as a way to create content that will boost your SEO, because it is.

Everything you create should be interesting to your Dream Clients and drive traffic back to your website.

As long as it meets those qualifications, you can really post content about whatever you want! Just be strategic.

Post Pins That Will Stay Relevant

Jewelry is timeless, and so are Pinterest pins.

The amazing thing about Pinterest is that when you do the work once, that pin can keep working for you for years.

Jessica still gets inquiries on pins she posted 3 years ago!

Keep this in mind when you’re curating content. What will stay relevant to your business in the long run?

Like I said, this is only scratching the surface of what Jessica and I talked about. Listen to the full episode above to hear her inspiring story and more advice on how you can push your business to the next level.

    xo, Tracy
