A brief story of what you do and why you do it:

I've always loved jewelry and looked at it as a fantasy career. After many years of searching for my purpose I decided it was time to make a change and bet on myself for the first time in my life! I design simple everyday fine jewelry because I believe jewelry is an extension of ourselves and investing in a piece of jewelry, whether for yourself or a gift, which will last a lifetime is very special. Jewelry has a way of making us feel special, unique and sometimes holds a lot of sentimental value. Creating something which allows me to express my creativity and also bring joy to someone is priceless to me.
I've always been an entrepreneur at heart. Creating jewelry, sharing it with the world and making a profitable business from it means the world to me.

How did you get into jewelry design?

In late 2013 after years of searching for purpose I made the decision to learn the art of jewelry design and the business part of it and haven't looked back.

What makes your collection unique?

My jewelry is an extension of everything I love, my creative spirit. It's made in NYC because fair wages, expert craftsmanship and sustainable practices is important to me. The design and production is made straight from the heart. It's jewelry I feel good about making and that will translate to my customers. They will feel good about wearing it. It's simply designed and easy to wear!

What are your inspirations?

I draw inspiration from both city and beach elements and the calm beauty of the ocean.

How are you making a difference in your life?

I wake up and go to sleep with a feeling of purpose. I'm challenging myself, growing everyday and absolutely love what I'm doing. There's no end in sight, which means the possibilities are endless and that's very exciting.

What's something unusual about you that makes you “you”?

I always look beyond the surface. All I ever see is the possibilities of everything. This sometimes annoys some people and inspires others.

What's the biggest struggle in running your jewelry business like a business? OR What is your biggest success in running your business like a business?

Right now it's an e-commerce business so driving traffic to my site is challenging.
