Last week, we mentioned that we are taking a few weeks off of blogging so that our team can take a little break. We all need a break at times…


However, we will be sending you some inspiration and great reading/listening while we are away + we wanted to give you some resources to help make your business a little easier.

Before we give you a bunch of resources, we thought we would let you in on an easy hack to get into magazines like Oprah Magazine and InStyle.


When you are sending pitches to editors, there can be a lot of digging involved. You need to find the editor's name, figure out their email address and also figure out what to pitch. Sending directed pitches to editors is VERY important to your success.


That’s why using using a resource like an editorial calendar can make it easier to send “spot on” pitches.


You might be wondering where to find these?


Sometimes we make it more difficult than it has to be..and it’s really not challenging at all.


OK here is the step by step:

  1. Open up your browser in Google
  2. Type in the words “Oprah Magazine Editorial Calendar 2015”
  3. Click on “Editorial” and you’ll get this
  4. Enter your details and you are on your way to knowing what stories they are working on
  5. Control-Alt-Repeat for every publication you are interested in
