Wow – what a milestone! Whether you’ve been with me from the beginning or joined somewhere along the way – I want to thank you for joining me every week, putting in your earbuds, and going on this adventure together!

We all grow and go through changes in our lives – and often the most troubling times are the ones that push us through to the next level.
This really hit home for me as I was listening to Amanda Francis, and she said a line I’ll never forget: “Your setback is your comeback.”
In today’s episode – I’ll be exploring what that sentence means to me – and how you can use its wisdom to embrace the hard times in your life and become the person you are meant to be!
I start the episode by revealing that for most of this year – I’ve been melting down. I’ve put on a happy face, and made everything appear normal – but it’s been a mask I’ve been wearing. And it all started 5 years ago…
After I share what happened to me – I reveal more of what’s coming for Flourish & Thrive Academy. I make some major announcements and explain some of the major changes we’ve made and some that are still to come.

There have been 2 major moments in my life where I’ve had a major setback that set the stage for who I am today. The first happened when I was 22, and the second happened by the age of 30. Both were very emotional and traumatic moments in my life that drastically changed its trajectory. You’ll discover what I learned from them, and the questions to ask to help turn setbacks in your life into comebacks.
As a Jewelry Artist – creativity is one of our most important assets. I talk about how creativity comes most often when you don’t schedule it, and what you can do to encourage creativity to blossom.
Our setbacks show us that we are not in alignment, but it takes more than just acknowledgement to make a comeback. It’s important to make a comeback plan composed of the actions you need to take daily that will move you back into alignment again. I share how I made my comeback plan – and give you what you need to think about to build a comeback plan that works for you.
The lessons we learn from our setbacks are critical to our future success. I share an example of a businesswoman I followed who almost lost her business when the pandemic hit, what she felt, and what she did to get through it.
The most important reminder I want to give you is to find a supportive community. It is so important to be able to share the small wins as you make your comeback, and you can learn from others who are in different stages of a similar journey. Our community, the JMC was created as a way for Jewelry Creativies to support each other and celebrate wins together while moving up to the next level.
