Matthew received a BFA in industrial design from Pratt Institute. He began his professional career designing watches for Marc Jacobs, DKNY, and Diesel. Matthew has had two companies, Steel Cake (a watch company with materials sourced overseas) and Brooklyn Bakery (a leather goods company with materials sourced in the US).
Matt co-founded Maker’s Row with Tanya Menendez in 2012 . Maker’s Row has a network of over 4K American manufacturers and 35K brands and designers looking to create products in the USA. Maker’s Row has been featured on NPR, CNN and CNBC.
